What The COMMUNITY is saying

Neighborhood Realtors

"Supporting the levy is not simply about funding schools; it is about protecting one of the most important assets in our neighborhood. Strong schools help preserve strong property values. They reinforce the long-term desirability of Dunthorpe. They signal to the broader market that this is a community committed to excellence and stability.

As Realtors and neighbors, we believe maintaining that advantage matters. We encourage you to join us in supporting the Riverdale Local Option Levy."

Mina Stricklan - 2025/2026 Riverdale School Board Chair

"As chair of the Riverdale School Board, I see every day how deeply our schools shape the future of our students and our community. This levy is an investment in the teachers, programs, and safe learning environments that allow every Riverdale student to thrive. By supporting the levy, our community is reaffirming a shared commitment to strong public schools and the opportunities they create for every child.

I also want to thank our community for its unwavering support of Riverdale. The deep and broad partnership between students, families, educators, and neighbors is what makes our district so incredibly special and is critical to providing our students with the resources they need to succeed."

Leslie Goss - Long-Time Resident & Former Levy Chair

"Of course Riverdale School District taxpayers have supported the local option levy since its inception in 2000.  It’s a no brainer. After centralizing school funding at the state level, Local Option levies were created. The option allows communities to tax themselves and provide extra funding for their neighborhood schools in a state where education funding is suboptimal. Riverdale voters have been consistently wise and generous to support the levy which protects Riverdale’s small class sizes and broad programming, keeping the school’s ratings high and giving a lift to district home values. Five out of five levies have been supported, my husband Sam and I have faith that voters will vote yes on 26-263 this May.  Go Riverdale!"
